Celebrating 40 Wellness Stars For 2021

In 2021, some of the buzzwords that dominated headlines and any conversation around the Indian wellness space were immune health, self-care and mental wellbeing. This was not surprising after the significance that wellbeing gained in the year gone when health became among the top priorities for most people. In India, this change sees many who are practising different ways to heal people and promote the cause of health.

The BW Wellbeing World 40 Under 40 awards was instituted to celebrate this set of leaders. The initiative was conceptualised with the sole purpose of giving recognition to experts in their respective fields under the umbrella of wellbeing. These included all sub-sectors such as mind, body, soul, personal space and work life among others.

The jury-run process was divided into three phases. The first phase saw an outreach to over 2500 individuals and companies in this space.  More than 250 nominations, through a combined process, were received. In the second phase, these nominations were vetted for their information and a total of 73 shortlisted entries were then presented to a jury panel. Forming the third phase, a quorum of renowned experts judged the candidates. The parameters comprised elevator pitch, achievements and contributions, mission and vision and implementation and also their confidence of why they deserve the award. 

The final 40 were awarded after this process.

A Rigorous Jury Process by Experts
The jury members consisted veterans and trendsetters such as Luke Coutinho, Holistic Lifestyle Coach, Integrative and Lifestyle Medicine & Founder, YouCare – All about YOU; Arvind Bhandari, EVP and Director, Nestle; Gouri Shankar Tenginkai, Director, Novo Healthcare; Daksha Bharadwaj, Architect Partner Bharadwaj Bharadwaj and Associates; Trustee, Dr. Satyakam Vedic Research Foundation; Jwalant Swaroop, Founder and CEO Happiness Infinite Solutions; Raj Nayak, Founder and Managing Director, House of Cheer Network and Shashi Bhushan Dubey – Spiritual Coach and Business Mentor.

With enthusiasm and motivation, the nominees showcased their passion, skills and overall maturity in terms of being dedicated to their goals and helping build a better tomorrow. Some of them proved to be exemplary in their presentation, goal highlighting, building a connect of mutual respect, and last but not the least, proving themselves worthy of immense praise and accolades. 

BW Wellbeing World as a community strives to touch a very large number of lives positively and also create a better future. Concepts and important facets of wellbeing, like spirituality, mental health, nutrition, exercise, a joyous way of life and good overall progress are celebrated to the extent of creating a benchmark of holistic wellbeing.
