Enabling Employees To Deliver Their Best Every Day: Modenik Lifestyle

Modenik Lifestyle is the merged entity of two leading essential wear companies –Gokaldas Intimatewear (Parent Company of Brand enamour) and Dixcy Textiles, and with an inspiring vision to ‘Be the most preferred company for comfortable & fashionable essential clothing’. In an interaction with Businessworld, Sanchayan Paul, CHRO of Modenik Lifestyle, spoke about their revamped office space and Modenik’s sense of shared purpose and culture of collaboration.

Modenik has redesigned its office, what was the thought behind it?

Post the merger, when designing the office, we wanted to ensure that the reimagined space reflects our shared purpose, vision and values. We wanted to create an immersive workspace experience to encourage greater teamwork and communication amongst our employees. Hence, we approached the office redesign quite strategically. Our objective was to create a working space that mirrored our new, vibrant culture of collaboration, openness, and transparency. We designed an open plan office, infused with vibrant colors, informal workspaces for integrated group chats and quiet, singular corners to allow independent thinking. For confidential discussions, we opted to use glass walls instead of opaque wooden ones to create a sense of transparency. The idea was to create an open, flexible, and collaborative office space that fosters a culture of openness, collaboration, care, and innovation.
