Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Monday recommended the use of "Artificial Intelligence" (AI) for need-based construction of the rural roads in the state to ensure the wise use of public funds for development purposes.
The chief minister of Punjab gave the go-ahead for the use of "Artificial Intelligence" for need-based development of rural roads in the state while presiding over a meeting of the Punjab Mandi Board at his office on Monday. He claimed that by taking this action, the state's current resources will be used as efficiently as possible while also receiving top-notch work on rural roads.
According to Mann, this method will revolutionise road construction by saving the government a significant amount of money. He said that the state administration had made the decision to upgrade, reinforce, and widen rural roads all around the state in order to significantly improve the link road infrastructure.
The state government, according to the CM, made this choice after considering the necessity of this road network for the benefit of the populace. In addition to making sure that every dollar allotted for that project was invested in a justifiable manner, he asked the Punjab Mandi Board to ensure good quality of the work.
Mann claimed that in order to make it easier for people to commute in rural areas, these roads urgently needed to be strengthened and upgraded. According to him, these transportation routes needed to be upgraded so that people could move freely between towns and villages.
The CM stated that the strategy for building these roads was carefully planned, and high attention was given to the roads that had not been built in more than six years.
