Yash Raj Films Appoint A P Parigi As Senior Adviser- Education

A P Parigi has been appointed as Senior Adviser- Education at Yash Raj Films (YRF). Parigi is a recognized name in the media and entertainment space.

He had also shared a valuable relationship with the Late Yash Chopra and his family. Parigi has previously been engaged in significant educational and academic institutes in the past decade.

He served as a member of the Business Advisory Council of The Said Business School, Oxford University and as a Member of The Board of Overseers of The Graduate School of Business Administration, Fordham University, New York, USA. He has been brought on board to explore initiatives by YRF in the field of education.

Parigi was appointed as the Group CEO of Network18, on 29th January 2015. He carries with him over 40 years of experience across different sectors including media, telecommunications, infrastructure and entertainment.

He is an alumnus of the Delhi School of Economics, and holds an MBA, Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi. He has also served as the MD and CEO of Radio Mirchi which emerged as a major radio station under his leadership with a daily listenership of well over 25 million.

Besides being a Director of Times Infotainment Media Limited, Parigi, was the executive vice-chairman of Times Innovative Media Limited. Prior to joining the Times Group, he was the Chief Executive Officer of BPL Mobile Communications, Mumbai- a joint venture of BPL with France Telecom. He also carries with him the experience of being the MD and Group CEO of Eros Media International Ltd (India).
