These are some signs that may prompt you to quit an organisation

There are times you feel like avoiding work and feel bored in the office workspace. Good employees will be the first to leave because they have a bunch of other options. Here are various reasons when you should start looking for other organisations.

Undervalued Potential 

If you are stuck in a workplace where your work is not valued or your skills are not utilised, then you know it is time to customize your resume and look for other options. Career satisfaction is helpful for both the employee and the company.

A bad boss

People feel in a bad environment if their boss is not encouraging and always demanding more, which can bring down the confidence level. A good leader takes his team forward and employees often tend to replace their boss rather than their work profile.


Your paycheck is one of the most important things. Being underpaid is another aspect of your value not being recognised and you may look for well- paying jobs as per your potential. The most relevant reason that an employee may call it quits is the money problem. Lack of growth in wages is quite a problem for employees who always want to advance. Static wages causes a number of people to quit their job, according to a survey by Ernst & Young conducted on 10,000 people.    

Growth Prospect

Looking forward to 1 to 2 years, If you don’t see personal and professional growth in the organisation you work, look for organisations and job profiles that encourage growth. Every employee wants attention to their work and wants to be heard. They need proper feedback to the work done and are important for the employees to learn and grow. Talented employees will always want to find areas to improve their skill set. Employee want increase in pay scale with increase in their workload and skill set. If not so, they will get bored of doing the same work and leave.


There may be off-days but feeling bored for prolonged sessions signals it to look for other jobs. If you don’t feel satisfied and search for more meaning at work, it is time to find a challenging job that keeps you intact with work and takes you to new experiences.
