Welspun India Acquires 26% Stake In Clean Max Thanos

The company has entered into an arrangement for supply of renewable energy under Captive Structure from CTPL

Welspun India on Thursday announced that as a part of its Environmental, social, and governance (ESG) journey, the company has acquired a 26 per cent stake in renewable energy company Clean Max Thanos. 

The company has entered into an arrangement for supply of renewable energy under Captive Structure from CTPL. 

The company has subscribed to 26 per cent equity share capital of CTPL by paying Rs 3.80 crore. The remaining 74 per cent stakes will be controlled by CTPL. 

Welspun’s Vapi factory will be acquiring renewable energy from Clean Max, which will be setting up a renewable energy project, as a part of the Hybrid Policy of the Gujarat government.
