Warrior Industries Battling Covid-19
Maybe these industries among a few others are the ray of hope casting light on the bright side, even during this Pandemic thereby keeping the wheel of the economy in motion.

With the recrudescence of COVID-19 worldwide, everything has come to a halt. Businesses and corporates across industries have been adversely impacted apart from social lives. With a complete lockdown of 21 days in India effective from March 25, 2020, the Government has virtually created a “Lakshman Rekha” across the parameters of the houses of all individuals. Subsequently, the Government machinery is tasked with its effective implementation.
Despite this predicament, there persist industries, which are enabling all possible movements that are crucial and essential during this time. With a significant reduction in footfall across the nation coupled with the increase in the number of people working from home, certain industries have had a disparate impact i.e. the E-commerce platforms, the healthcare industry and the food trade. Needless to say, the e-commerce platform is one of the modes effectively providing basic essential commodities to the general public amidst the lock-down. There is a significant switch to online purchases in many retail sectors thereby helping in avoiding public places and preventing contact with people or public properties. Government has provided special reliefs for movement of deliveries by e-commerce platforms for essential requirements to aid its ‘lock-down’ objectives.
Organizations such as Medikabazaar are playing a peculiar role in bravely delivering medicines and consumables to hospitals and healthcare establishments during these critical and precarious days.
The healthcare industry is at a pivotal junction, burdened with substantial responsibility and accountability amidst this unique Pandemic. The role played by the healthcare industry is not just laudable but also respectable. The emergence of COVID-19 pandemic, set in motion an inevitable need for providing healthcare treatments to patients at home. This unique concept of providing healthcare treatments at home will prevent regular patients from getting exposed to the possibility of coming in contact with COVID-19 patients, at the hospitals. Interestingly, Healthcare at Home is one such company, which is equipped with providing medical care patients at home.
Vivek Srivastava, CEO of Health care at Home India says “We are working tirelessly to assist the hospitals. We are aware that the hospitals and Government together are putting great efforts in isolating the COVID-19 patients, but the resources and infrastructure is limited. As regular patients may have low immunity, it may be in their best interest to receive treatments at the comfort of their homes without compromising their health and without being exposed to the threat of COVID-19, in whichever cases it is possible. To ensure the wellbeing of the patients and provide proper medical treatment at home, Health Care at Home is at their service 24x7.”
As “roti, kapdaa aur makaan” are the basic requisites for one’s subsistence while people stay confined in the four walls of their homes, food remains the key aspect of life. Food trade is also exempted by the Government and is able to operate through various delivery aggregators in few parts of the country. It goes unsaid that the level of hygiene and protocols to be followed by all the food outlets is considerably high and without the scope of error. We hope delicious and mouthwatering food, shakes, and desserts may uplift the spirits of people momentarily, and make it a little easier to fight this challenging battle against Coronavirus. It is indisputably a difficult phase for mankind, but they say, every cloud has a silver lining. Maybe these industries among a few others are the ray of hope casting light on the bright side, even during this Pandemic thereby keeping the wheel of the economy in motion.
