India’s new labour codes were seen as a landmark step in the labour and employment jurisprudence space. Although subsuming the plethora of labour laws into four main codes would have been a mammoth task, still, the delay in its implementation has not been well received.

Legal experts pin down the issues into challenges with consolidation, interpretation and digitization in the labour law ecosystem. The fourth pillar in the scheme of things is keeping the multiple stakeholders on the same page and creating the right awareness amongst them.
