American mobility as a service and ride hailing platform, Uber has announced that it's application would reveal to it's drivers trip fares before they accept rides, according to a report by The Verge

The feature called “upfront fares,” will show drivers exactly how much they’ll be paid for a trip and where they’ll end up after dropping a rider off. The company claims that this move will “completely reimagine the way drivers accept rides.”

The announcement comes at a time when the company is pushing to make driving for the rideshare service more flexible.

The platform also revealed that it plans on rolling out a feature that would allow drivers to pick and choose from a pool of ride requests in their area, based on optimum fare and drop-off location.

Currently, the changes on driver application will reflect only in the US. However, it is still not clear as to which areas of the country would be covered under the new pro-driver features.
