UP CM Ranks First In People’s Survey, Kejriwal, Mamata Get Second And Third Positions

According to the ‘Mood of the Nation survey’ conducted by C-Voters and India Today, UP CM Yogi Adityanath ranked first, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal stood second while West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee stood third

The Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has emerged as the best performing chief minister in the ‘Mood of the Nation survey’ conducted by C-Voters and India Today. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal stood second while West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee stodd third. 

According to information, Yogi Adityanath got 39.1 per cent votes, while Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal got 16 per cent votes and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee got 7.3 per cent votes. The survey was conducted in 30 states. 

It may be mentioned here that India Today and C Voters have conducted the Mood of the Nation survey to know the public rating of the performances of the state governments. In this survey, people were asked questions regarding the best performing Chief Minister and the quality of governance in different states of the country. 

The survey was conducted for 30 chief ministers of the country and they were rated on the basis of their work, policies and governance. 

According to the survey, the popularity of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal declined significantly (6%) as compared to August 2022, when he emerged as the choice of 22 per cent people. Similarly, the popularity of West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, who is rated number three with 7.3 percent, has also dropped by about one percent as compared to August 2022.
