Twitter Blue Rolled Out In India At Rs 900 On Mobile

Twitter has finally launched its premium subscription service “Twitter Blue” in India at a price of Rs 650 per month on the web and Rs 900 on Android and iOS mobile devices.

Twitter Blue provides users with additional features on the microblogging platform including tweet editing, longer video posts, organised bookmarks, app icon customisation, NFT as profile picture and longer tweets. It also provides the user with the coveted blue checkmark.

Twitter Blue has also been extended to Brazil and Indonesia along with India.

On Wednesday, the microblogging platform also announced that its Twitter Blue subscribers can now post tweets up to 4,000 characters long.

The new feature for the Twitter Blue users is different from normal users who can tweet in up to 280 characters on the micro-blogging platform. Twitter said that most standard functions of Tweeting still apply, whether users want to post a picture, use a hashtag, or create a poll. But for now, longer Tweets on web can't be saved as drafts or scheduled to send later.
