A memorandum with the request to re write present GST law will be handed over to Prime Minister through the District Magistrate / District Deputy Commissioner.

This memotandum is being submitted by nations apex trade body Federation of All India Vyapar Mandal (FAIVM) .Memorandum to be submitted on 22nd February 2021 will carry a humble request from Traders and Retailers to re write entire GST law which should be simple, users friendly and easy to understand ,implement and comply by all sections of traders and retailers.

According to a release issued by FAIVM, the organization is actively working in about 400 districts in 18 states of India and is directly or indirectly connected with 4 crore  retail traders. Apart from these 400 districts, some other regional trade organisations are also expected to join “new GST law" national campaign initiated by FAIVM.

According to the Mr. V K Bansal,National Gen Secretary,FAIVM, about 1000 amendment in present  GST in its 42-month journey has proved that present GST  needs a thorough review thus  structural changes are required in GST. This would be the appropriate solution if we write a new GST law after consultation with all the partners. The new GST law will definitely give impetus to the self-reliant India campaign.

Jayendra Tanna,National President FAIVM  told the media that his organization is against any kind of Bharat bandh or shop bandh or chakka jam. Today, under the leadership of the energetic and visionary Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi, India has emerged as a strong nation on the world stage, in such a way that India closed or closed shop can become a means of negative propaganda against the our country. This will not only tarnish the image of the country but will also affect foreign investment.

Sh V K Bansal  has said in very clear words that discussions with the elected government in Democracy is the best and appropriate way, so FAIVM has decided to put their demands before the Honorable Prime Minister and for this purpose on February 22, district representatives of FAIVM will reach to local administration office in about 400 district headquarters and will handover charter of demand to concerned District Megistrate,Collector or District Dy Commissioner.
