PM Narendra Modi on Monday addressed a webinar on certain effect of Union Budget 2022 on the education and skill sectors. Concerned Union Ministers, key partners from education, skill development, science, technology and research were present in the event.
PM Modi began by accentuating the significance of the young generation for nation building. He said, "Empowering our youth who are future nation builder, is empowering India’s future”.
Narendra Modi explained on five angles that were featured in the Budget 2022. First, key choices have been taken for universalisation of value instruction i.e extension of education with worked on quality alongside upgraded abilities of the training area. Second, consideration has been given to skill development. The focus on making an advanced skill environment, expertise improvement according to industry interest and better industry linkages. Thirdly, consideration of India's antiquated insight and information on metropolitan preparation and planning into instruction is significant. Fourthly, Internationalization has been stressed. This includes appearance of top notch unfamiliar colleges and consolation of foundations of GIFT City getting Fintech related organisations. Fifth, center around Animation Visual Effects Gaming Comic (AVGV) where there is enormous capability of work and there is a major worldwide market.
The webinar was part of the new practice of discussion and dialogue with the stakeholders before and after the budget. The objective is to brainstorm with experts from the public and private sectors, academia and industry and identify strategies on how best to move forward towards implementation of various issues under different sectors. The webinar had sessions on different themes of relevance and witnessed participation of government officials of various ministries and state governments, industry representatives, skill development organisations, educationists, students and other experts.
