Tata Power Solar Systems (TPSSL) has won a Rs 1,755 crore 300 MW deal from state-owned Neyveli Lignite Corporation (NLC)

The business will also operate and maintain the project for three years following the commercial operation declaration.

According to a statement, the 300 MW Domestic Content Requirement (DCR)-based project in Barsingar, Bikaner, Rajasthan, is anticipated to produce more than 750 million units of renewable energy and decrease 6 lakh tonne of CO2 annually.

The project's Letter of Award (LoA) was awarded through open bidding. It was stated that the project would be commissioned within 18 months of getting the LoA.

TPSSL will handle the entire project implementation, from design to commissioning and the evacuation system all the way to delivery.

The entire order book of the company is around Rs 17,000 crore.

With large-scale lignite production and a substantial share of thermal and renewable power generation, NLC has been a forerunner among public sector companies in the energy sector.
