Tata Chemicals Re-appoints R Mukundan As MD & CEO For Five Years

Tata Chemicals on Tuesday said that the company has re-appointed R Mukundan as the managing director (MD) and chief executive officer (CEO) for the period of five years with effect from 26 November 2023.

The company in its stock exchange said the appointment was based on the recommendation of the nomination and remuneration committee and is subject to the approval of the members at the annual general meeting.

The present tenure of Mukundan as MD and CEO will end on 25 November 2023.

The managing director's association with Tata is since 1990 when he joined the Tata Administrative Service, after completing of MBA from FMS, Delhi University.

In a decade-long stint with the Tata Group, Mukundan has held various responsibilities across the chemical, automotive and hospitality sectors of the Tata Group.
