Summer camps have become an old school because academicians have found out the other way out to direct the students' energy from physical activities to mind games.

It is known for fun and activities where children learn arts activities, dance, pottery and many other things. However, the time has changed now so the activities.

The summer camps have transformed completely from fun activities to leadership skills such as summer leadership programme, STEM and Robotics Camps, Summer School (language programme), young leaders and many others.

The camps are carefully designed with concept-driven learning to ignite the interest and inquisitiveness in children towards innovations and problem-solving skills, at the same time giving them a much needed early exposure.

iRobokid's STEM and Robotics Camps

Brace up all the junior engineers and future techies, as this summer, iRobokid gives you one-of-a-kinds opportunity to experience and learn the cutting edge technologies of the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Matehmatics) and Robotics. Understanding that STEM skills are imperative in the near future, iRobokid, the oldest STEM Solution Providers in the country, is organising unique multi-faceted camps covering various aspects of STEM education with a concentrated focus on new age programs such as Coding, Electronic and 3-D Printing.

Starting 12 March 2018 iRobokid offers two camps - DISCOVER STEM: INTRODUCTION TO CODING, 3D PRINTING AND ROBOTICS

Details - 5-day camp to give children a peek into the world of current and future day technologies like Robotics, Computer Programming, Animation, 3D modelling and Printing through practical working projects. The camp will enhance their understanding of these technologies and introduce them to relevant skills required to innovate and excel in near future.

Children in Grade 5 and above can attend the camp.

Junior Engineer: Explore Simple Machines and Electronics

Details - 5-day camp, curated carefully for children to get a hands-on experience of building working models, inspired by Da Vinci's works, to give them a glimpse into the world of Simple Machines - Electricity and Electronic and to enhance their understanding of how these operations take place. During the course of the camp, the children will get a chance to create replicas of Scaling ladder used by fire brigade for rescue operations, Swing Bridge and A Catapult.

Doon School's  Summer Leadership Programme

The Doon School - Dehradun, has announced its residential 'Summer @ Doon Leadership Programme' from 2nd to 16th June 2018. The programme is open to all aspiring girls and boys in Grades 9-12 who are passionate about making a positive impact on the world around them.

Application for this programme closes on April 30th, 2018.

This dynamic and thought-provoking leadership programme will be a blend of creative experiential learning, leadership case studies, design thinking, motivational lectures, outdoor adventures, self-reflection and group interaction. The programme will allow students to expand their horizons across many disciplines and learn through the lenses of psychology, history, geography, philosophy, and economics.

A critically important element will be the relationship between leadership, social service, and environmental responsibility. This programme will ensure that boys and girls develop a deeper understanding of what successful leadership is all about and what is required to demonstrate it in the 21st Century in the context of a developing society in an increasingly globalized world. The programme will be taught by many of the school's experienced staff as well as by Doon School alumni and other special guests.

"The two-week long programme will be an adventure that promises to be challenging and intellectually demanding, enabling students to meet and make like-minded friends, and to learn from each other and the adults leading Summer @ Doon", added Matthew Raggett, Headmaster.

Summer School
Summer School is a fun-filled, project-based course that happens once a year at the British Council Teaching Centres in Kolkata, Chennai and Delhi.

Explorers: Through a virtual trip around the world, children will learn about different cultures, develop language skills and build confidence through a lesson about one city each day.

Media Magic: Children will explore communication channels such as the radio, television and the internet. They learn how to write blogs, create an advertisement and even explore ways of using the internet (wisely of course!).
