Southern Railway To Run First Overnight Vande Bharat Between Chennai & Bengaluru

The train will take five and a half hours to travel between the cities, departing from Chennai Central Station to arrive at Bengaluru in the early hours of Wednesday

Southern Railway will start the first overnight Vande Bharat between China and Bengaluru on 21 November to deal with the holiday rush, according to the report of a leading media company. Vande Bharat is usually run during the day, therefore this will be the first Vande Bharat scheduled to run in the night.

According to the report, the Southern Railway has decided to run a special Vande Bharat express train from Chennai to Bengaluru today. The train will have eight coaches and leave from the Tamil Nadu capital at 11 pm today and reach Bengaluru at around 4:30 am,

The train will take five and a half hours to travel between the cities, departing from Chennai Central Station to arrive at Bengaluru in the early hours of Wednesday.
