Days after All India Institute of Medical Sciences in Delhi experienced cyber attack, another instance of alleged hacking attack has been recorded in Delhi’s top hospital, the Safdarjung Hospital.

Although, the hacking attack on the Safdarjung Hospital was relatively less severe than AIIMS-Delhi.

Due to the function of major part of hospital work on manual mode, there were lesser chances of data leak.

As per the media reports the officials from the hospitals conveyed that the attack was not of higher degree and some sections of the hospital server were impacted.

Prior to few days the hospital system was attacked, and the server was down for one day, it added.

The officials added that NIC team working with the hospital administration had corrected the problem. Moreover, the server was running properly now.

The hospital also notified that the nature of attack on Safdarjung Hospital was unlike the AIIMS Delhi ransomware attack.
