Reliance Jio's 5g Expands Rapidly, Now Available In 406 Cities

Starting from Tuesday, Jio users can avail of 5g service in 41 cities and will be welcome to sample the Jio Welcome Offer, which includes unlimited data at speeds of up to 1 gbps+ at no extra cost

Reliance Jio announced on Tuesday that its True 5G services are now available in 406 cities, making it the first and only telecom provider to achieve such a broad network in such a short period of time.

The company announced the launch of its True 5G services in 41 new cities across 16 states and union territories: Adoni, Badvel, Chilakaluripet, Gudivada, Kadiri, Narsapur, Rayachoti, Srikalahasti, Tadepalligudem (Andhra Pradesh), Margao (Goa), Fatehabad, Gohana, Hansi, Narnaul, Palwal (Haryana), Paonta Sahib (Himachal (Karnataka).

Other cities include Kanhangad, Nedumangad, Taliparamba, Thalassery, Thiruvalla (Kerala), Betul, Dewas, Vidisha (Madhya Pradesh), Bhandara, Wardha (Maharashtra), Lunglei (Mizoram), Byasanagar, Rayagada (Odisha), Hoshiarpur (Punjab), Tonk (Rajasthan), Karaikudi (Tripura).

“Jio is expanding its True-5G reach at a rapid pace and has already rolled out a significant portion of the planned True-5G network in this nation. "We are extremely proud to cover the majority of the country,” a business spokesperson said.

Starting from Tuesday, Jio users in these 41 cities will be welcomed to sample the Jio Welcome Offer, which includes unlimited data at speeds of up to 1 gbps+ at no extra cost.

Meanwhile, Akash Ambani, Chairman of Reliance Jio Infocomm has stated that Reliance Jio is on track to meet its stated goal of expanding the Jio 5G footprint to encompass every town, taluka, and tehsil across the country by December of this year.
