Refined Soya Oil Fall On Low Demand

Refined soya oil prices on Tuesday fell by Rs 10.1 to Rs 1,178 per 10 kg in futures trade as speculators reduced holdings amid subdued demand in spot market.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, refined soya oil for delivery in March declined by Rs 10.1, or 0.85 per cent, to Rs 1,178 per 10 kg in 37,985 lots.

Refined soya oil contracts for April traded lower by similar margins at Rs 1,169.6 per 10 kg in 21,690 lots.

Market analysts said cutting down of positions by participants against ample stocks mainly influenced refined soya oil prices.
