RBI Governor Hints To Increase Repo Rate In June

Most of the banks have increased the interest rates after the RBI hiked the repo rate by 0.40 per cent

RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das has said in an interview to an English TV channel that the repo rate will be increased in the monetary policy of June. He said that in view of inflation, policy rates were increased to 4.40 in the middle of monetary policy.

Now these can be increased to 5.15 per cent, which was the level before covid. That is, the burden of EMI on you is going to increase in the coming days. Home, car and other loan EMIs will increase.

Most of the banks have increased the interest rates after the RBI hiked the repo rate by 0.40 per cent. Due to this, the EMI of other loans including home, car loan has increased. Now if there is an increase in June, which is fully expected, then in the midst of inflation, it will hit to budget of the common man.
