Prices Of Petrol, Diesel Remain Stable Across The Country

Oil companies have released new prices of petrol and diesel. On Friday, the prices of petrol and diesel are stable across the country. The last time the Modi government at the Center reduced the excise duty on petrol and diesel on 21 May. After this, petrol became cheaper by Rs 9.50 and diesel by Rs 7 per liter across the country.

After the decision of the central government, the state governments in Rajasthan, Jharkhand and Maharashtra also gave relief to the people by reducing VAT.

Actually, these days there is a decline in crude oil in the international market. But even after this, the price of petrol is beyond 100 in many cities of the country. Petrol is being sold more than Rs 106 per liter in Mumbai. Apart from this, the state-owned oil company IOL is selling petrol-diesel at a loss.
