Pleasin Strides Foundation Organizes CSR Conclave
The Conclave provided a unique opportunity to all the attendees to listen to the amazing speakers who talked on some very innovative ideas in the CSR field and everyone gained from the rich experience these speakers carry in their respective industry

Pleasin Strides Foundation organized one of the biggest CSR Conclaves in India on 31 August in New Delhi in association with BW People. The CSR Conclave was attended by most prominent personalities of the Industry to discuss on various topics which are affecting CSR activities today and will induce the changes in the way the CSR initiatives will be conducted in the future.
The Conclave was started by a welcome note from Sagar Kaushik, founder of Pleasin Strides Foundation. Kaushik also spoke about how he, along with his fiends Shashi Kaushik, Nagendra Bisht, Dinesh Choudhary and KAshish Jain started Pleasin Strides Foundation with a sole objective of Social Welfare.
The Chief Guest of the Conclave Shabnam Singh, Chairperson Yuvraj Singh’s Foundation-Youwecan spoke about Yuvraj Singh’s struggle in fighting cancer and also stressed on how important it is for all of us to look at CSR initiatives from more humanitarian perspective.
The Deputy Commissioner of Police Dr Eish Singhal was also present at the Conclave and discussed on the Road Safety of the citizens.
The Conclave was attended by more than 230 speakers and guests who gained from the knowledge sharing sessions during the daylong event. The Conclave had five Panel discussions to cover important aspects of CSR.
The first Panel discussion had the panelists Dr K.K.Upadhyay, Director - Strategic Initiatives, Swasti (Part of Catalyst Group), Vikas Bhatia, Head, Chambal Fertilisers, Dr Soumitro Chakraborty, Founder/ CEO, Fiinovation, Mr. Vinod Kulkarni, Head – CSR, Tata Motors, Mangesh Wange, CEO, Swadesh Foundation.
The second Panel discussion was on the topic- Going with the Gut feeling and the panelists were: Ramavatar Yadav (DGP Retd.) President, Heal Charity, Kartick Satyanarayan, Co-founder/ TED Speaker, Wildlife SOS, Col. Prakash Tiwari, Executive Director, DLF.
The next Panel Discussion was on the topic- Necessity of CSR in Business Environment. The Panelists for the session were - Manu Seth, Sapna Bhawnani, Communications & CSR Director, APAC Region, Alstom, Dipanwita Chakraborty, Regional Director, Corporate Responsibility & Sustainable Development, Asia Pacific, Cargill, Naveen Soni, Vice President - CSR, Toyota Kirloskar Motor Private Limited, Rohit Chaudhary, National Lead – Outreach & Partner Engagement, The Akshay Patra Foundation.
The fourth Panel discussion happened on the topic-Innovative approach to integrate social cause and the Panelists were NSN Murty, Partner and Leader, PWC, Lavanya Shrinagesh, Global CSR, Diversity & inclusion Leader, Genpact, Gaurav Shah, Founder & Dean, ISDM, Ramesh Kumar Sahijwani, Vice President - CSR, Iffco Tokio General Insurance Co.Ltd, Meenu Chopra, Executive Director, Fair Trade India
And the last Panel discussion was on the topic - How to involve less privileged in the organization.
The panelists for the discussion were Arun Nathan, Director, IDFC Foundation, Sonica Malhotra, Joint Managing Director, MBD Group, Brig. Hari Chukerbuti, Executive Vice President, Hinduja Foundation, Suparnaa Chadha, Media person and Social entrepreneur.
