Petrol and diesel prices have been increased once again in the country. Today i.e. on Wednesday again the price of petrol and diesel has been increased. Oil companies have increased the price of petrol and diesel by 80 paise today. With this increase, the price of petrol has gone up to Rs 97.01 per liter and diesel to Rs 88.27 per liter in the country's capital Delhi today. At the same time, petrol is being sold in Mumbai at the rate of Rs 111.67 per liter, while diesel is at Rs 95.85. Petrol in Ranchi has reached Rs 100.14 per liter and diesel Rs 93.24 per liter.
Earlier, on Tuesday also, the price of diesel petrol was increased in the country. Within a few days of the end of the assembly elections in five states, the relief on petrol and diesel in the country had stopped. After remaining stable for 137 days i.e. about 4 months, the price of petrol and diesel has increased by 80 paise. After this increase, the price of one liter of petrol in the country's capital Delhi had gone up to 96.21. At the same time, the price of diesel was also increased to Rs 87.47 per liter now.
Significantly, due to the Russia-Ukraine war, the prices of crude oil in the international market have increased very sharply in the last few days. Due to the rising prices of crude oil in the international market, the prices of diesel petrol have started touching the sky all over the world. After the elections in India too, its effect is being seen now.
After the release of new rates of oil companies, once in many cities of the country, the prices of diesel and petrol are making a century. Oil prices have crossed Rs 100 in Ranchi, Patna, Delhi, Mumbai, Bhopal, Jaipur, Kolkata, Chennai and Bangalore. The most expensive petrol is in Sriganganagar, Rajasthan. Here petrol is being sold at Rs 113.87 per liter.
After nearly four months, the price of diesel petrol has been increased today.
