Prime Minister Narendra Modi will travel to Telangana to inaugurate numerous important infrastructure projects, focusing on the healthcare, rail transportation, and electricity industries.
As one of the major projects during this visit, the PM will inaugurate the first 800 MW unit in phase 1 of the Telangana Super Thermal Power Project of the National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC). The state will have access to affordable power through this project, which is intended to support the growth of its economy.
As per reports, the project also boasts a strong dedication to environmental compliance and sustainability, which is in line with the country's objectives for green energy. The prime minister will dedicate many large rail projects to the country, which will significantly improve the state's train infrastructure.
Along with the completion of the electrification project between Dharmabad-Manoharabad and Mahabubnagar-Kurnool, this also includes the opening of a new rail route linking Manoharabad and Siddipet. By improving rail connectivity throughout the state, these programmes hope to advance the state's progress as a whole.
Additionally, as part of the Pradhan Mantri - Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission, PM Modi will lay the foundations for 20 critical care blocks (CCBs).
These CCBs are slated to be constructed in various districts across Telangana, including Adilabad, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Jogulamba Gadwal, Hyderabad, Khammam, Kumuram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Mahabubnagar (Badepally), Mulugu, Nagarkurnool, Nalgonda, Narayanpet, Nirmal, Rajanna Sircilla, RangaReddy (Maheshwaram), Suryapet, Peddapalli, Vikarabad, and Warangal (Narsampet).
With a focus on critical care services, these healthcare institutions aim to strengthen the state's healthcare system.
According to the centre, with a strong focus on sustainable energy, enhanced rail connectivity, and improved healthcare facilities, PM Modi's visit demonstrates the government's commitment to enhancing infrastructure and fostering comprehensive development in Telangana.
