PM Modi Heads To UAE After G7 Summit In Germany

Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Tuesday after participating in two days of fruitful talks on sustainable solutions to global challenges, at the G7 summit in Germany. Prime Minister Modi will personally condole the death of former UAE President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan in the Gulf country. Nahyan died on 13 May after a long illness. He was 73 years old, he was in power since 2004.

When PM Modi reached UAE, he was warmly welcomed there. PM Modi was received by UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. As soon as he reached the airport, he hugged PM Modi like how many old friends he had. The global stature of PM Modi is so big that all the leaders of the world become his admirers.

It is noteworthy that after Nupur Sharma's alleged anti-Islamic statement, Islamic countries had expressed their displeasure against India. Indian ambassadors were summoned by the Gulf countries. Then it was believed that India's relations with these countries have deteriorated. But this meeting of PM Modi shows improvement in relations in many ways.

Before this, PM Modi is coming after a 2-day visit to Germany. During this, he held fruitful talks on permanent solutions to global challenges. Prime Minister Modi has reached Abu Dhabi for a short time, where he will stay for some time. After that he will reach New Delhi.

Significantly, PM Modi gave information about the G7 conference by tweeting. He wrote that leaving Germany after a fruitful trip. During this visit I attended the G7 summit, held talks with many world leaders and attended a memorable community event in Munich. We discussed a range of issues focused on advancing global welfare and prosperity.

Along with this, the Prime Minister also wrote, 'I thank the people of Germany, Chancellor of Germany Olaf Scholz and the German government for their hospitality in this visit. I am sure that India-Germany friendship will touch new heights in the times to come.'
