The petitions filed in the court regarding Gyanvapi and other mosques have been termed as wrong by the radical Islamic organisation Popular Front of India (PFI).

The PFI executive meeting was held on 23-24 May in Puttanthani, Kerala. A big decision was taken in this meeting. The organisation said that the petition against the Gyanvapi-Mathura Masjid is wrong. The courts should not have allowed this petition.

During this, PFI also raised questions on the role of the Supreme Court. PFI said that the ban on the use of Vazukhana is disappointing. Do not accept the court petition under the 1991 Act. The organisation said that Yogi government, MP government and Assam Police are committing atrocities. Muslims are on target in BJP ruled states.

In the past perios PFI was accused of instigating and funding people in Delhi Violence. It has been accused of inciting violence during CAA and NRC demonstrations in Uttar Pradesh, Assam. The Uttar Pradesh government had also demanded a ban on PFI by giving a dossier to the central government.
