Orange Self Storage, a first-of-a-kind self-storage company headquartered in India, has announced the unveiling of their first facility in Bengaluru North suburb by end of March 2018 and further expansion to South and Central Bengaluru regions in coming months.

This facility features indoor units, safe lockers, digital surveillance, electronic access, fire/pest controlled space, online payments and a full range of moving and packing supplies. "These facilities can be availed on both short and long- term basis. Prices may vary depending on the type, size, place, and the storage duration. Many of us might mistake it for a warehousing facility, but to be precise what differentiates them are the key features like individual secured self-storage cubes, safe lockers, digital surveillance, electronic access, fire/pest controlled space and backend customer support," added Babu.

The process of self-storage begins with a person who is interested in storing goods. At first, a person looks for a storage unit that suits his/her needs and then rents it. Basically, space is given according to the number of goods and their choice of preferred unit size. One can store almost everything that they got. The things that can be stored in a storage unit include strong household goods, business goods, excess inventory, archived records and many other non- perishable and storage friendly goods.

On achieving operational efficiencies in Bengaluru, the company plans nationwide expansion in coming years.
