Oppo R15, R15 Dream Mirror Edition With iPhone X-like Notch Goes Official In China
Oppo’s iPhone X look alike R15 and R15 Dream Mirror Edition has been made official in China. The handsets run on Android 8.1 Oreo and have 6.28-inches bezel less display with a notch.
Oppo R15 is priced at CNY 2,999 (Roughly Rs 30,900) comes in Snow White, Star Purple, and Hot Red colours while the Dream Mirror Edition is priced at CNY 3,299 (Rs 33,900) available in Dream Mirror Red, its Ceramic Black Edition is priced at CNY 3,499 (Roughly Rs 35,900). The handsets will go on sale in China from 1st April.
As of now, there is no word about the launch of Oppo R15 smartphones in India.
Both Oppo R15 and R15 Dream Mirror Edition smartphones run on ColorOS 5.0 based on Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box. The former is powered by an octa-core Helio P60 processor coupled with Mali G72 MP3 GPU and the latter by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 coupled with Adreno 512 GPU.
Both models have 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage which is expandable up to 256GB through a MicroSD card. The handsets feature a 6.28-inches FHD+ (2280x1080) OLED display with 19:9 aspect ratio.
Oppo R15 sports a 16-MP+5-MP dual rear camera with LED Flash and EIS while Dream Mirror Edition have 16-MP+20-MP dual camera. On the front, both handsets have a similar 20-megapixel selfie snapper with f/2.0 aperture.
The R15 is backed by a 3,450mAh battery while R15 Dream Mirror Edition by a 3,400mAh battery. Both handsets support VOOC fast charging. The handsets also have a rear mounted fingerprint sensor which lets the user to unlock the device.
