Now, Comes The Bijli Paani App

Gurgaon-based energy data analytics start up Zenatix has recently launched a Bijli Paani App to help users avail the subsidy on water and power consumption as declared by the AAP government.

 

As per the subsidy, Delhi citizens can avail 20,000 litres of free water but will have to pay for the entire water usage if their consumption goes beyond the set threshold. Also, monthly power consumption of households up to 400 units is subsidised at 50 per cent.

 

The mobile application predicts the water and electricity consumption of the user for the month and gives feedback whether the person will be eligible for subsidy or not. For that, the user has to get the meter reading daily or on alternate days and feed it in the app. The app will then keep track of user input readings and alert them if they are going to cross the threshold limit for the subsidy. The app can be downloaded from the Google Play store.
