Nikhil Sawhney Becomes President Of AIMA For 2023-24
TV Narendran of Tata Steel is AIMA's new Vice President while Suneeta Reddy assumes the role of Senior Vice President of AIMA for the same term. She is the Managing Director of the Apollo Hospitals Group

Nikhil Sawhney, Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Triveni Turbines, has taken the helm as the President of the All-India Management Association (AIMA) for the term 2023-24, succeeding Shrinivas Dempo, Chairman of Dempo Group of Companies.
Sawhney is a seasoned leader with a diverse background in investment banking and consumer goods, including international experience in the UK and the USA. His association with Triveni Engineering and Industries dates back to 1999, where he has been instrumental in key functions such as corporate affairs, communications, and investor relations.
Sawhney's commitment to societal development extends beyond the corporate world. He co-founded the CII-Triveni Water Institute and serves as an active trustee of Tirath Ram Shah Charitable Hospital and Emmanuel College India Trust. He is a Fellow of the Aspen Institute of India and the Aspen Global Leadership Network and serves as Co-Chair of the Ananta Aspen-led India-Israel Forum. Educationally, Nikhil Sawhney holds Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Arts from Emmanuel College, University of Cambridge, in addition to an MBA from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
T.V. Narendran, CEO & Managing Director of Tata Steel, has been appointed Vice President of AIMA. His extensive leadership experience includes chairing the Tata Steel Europe board, participating in the World Steel Association, and co-chairing the Mining & Metals Governors Council of the World Economic Forum. Narendran also serves as Chairman of the Board of Governors of XLRI Jamshedpur and IIT Kharagpur, among other prestigious roles.
Suneeta Reddy assumes the role of Senior Vice President of AIMA for the same term. She is the Managing Director of the Apollo Hospitals Group, spearheading the group's fundraising, investment decisions, and corporate strategy. Reddy's influential role in business earned her recognition as one of Fortune India's Most Powerful Women and the Businesswoman of the Year Award in 2020 by the Economic Times. She is actively involved in various professional organizations, including the India International Chamber of Commerce and the Global Parity Alliance of the World Economic Forum in India.
P. Dwarkanath continues his role as AIMA Treasurer, bringing with him a wealth of experience from his tenure as Chairman of GSK Consumer Healthcare and his associations with the Shriram and Max groups. He has also led the National Human Resources Development Network and the Delhi Management Association.
The newly appointed leadership team is poised to steer AIMA towards continued growth and influence in the management sphere.
