Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate sixth Vande Bharat Express connecting Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, Nagpur and Maharashtra, on 11 December.

As per the leading media house, the Bilaspur-Nagpur Vande Bharat Express will operate six days a week and will be able to complete the journey in about five and a half hours.

The train will be operated by southeast central railways (SECR), which can run up to a maximum speed of 160 kilometers per hour. It has an intelligent braking system that facilitates better acceleration and deceleration.

It has travel classes like the Shatabdi train. However, the facilities are better in Vande Bharat Express. All coaches have been furnished with automatic city doors, a GPS-based audio-visual passenger information system, onboard hotspot Wi-Fi for entertainment objectives, and relaxed seating. The executive class also has rotating chairs. It aims to offer passengers a new travel experience.

This Vande Bharat 2.0 provides adequate heat ventilation and air conditioning control using the most efficient compressor with ultraviolet (UV) lights to provide a sterile air supply. The time for trains to reach 160 km/h will be reduced from 145 seconds to 140.
