Prime Minister Narendra Modi asked party leaders from all sides to work together to increase the effectiveness of Parliament's winter session on Wednesday.

Speaking to the media prior to the commencement of the session, he said that lawmakers, including those in the opposition, had informed him that disturbance and adjournment in Parliament were bad ideas since it denied younger MPs the chance to gain experience.

The Prime minister urged all political parties to give newly elected MPs a chance to speak in debates in order to prepare the next generation for democracy and for their bright future. Additionally, he stated that India's hosting of the G20 summit, which will take place in 2023, is more than just a diplomatic opportunity to promote the nation to the outside world.

At a recent all-party meeting on the G20, the Prime minister stated he had a friendly conversation with leaders of all parties and expressed optimism that it would also be represented in Parliament.
