NHPC Reports Net Profit Of Rs 569 Cr In Q4

The company’s recommended final dividend is Rs 0.45 per share with a face value of Rs 10 per share. In addition to the interim dividend of Rs 1.40 per equity share

State-owned hydropower plant National Hydroelectric Power Corporation (NHPC) on Monday reported a standalone net profit of Rs 569.47 crore in the March quarter, a 1.7 per cent increase from Rs 560.09 crore in the fourth quarter last year.

NHPC’s operational revenues, including margin from power trading in Q4 FY 2023, stood at Rs 1,971.21 crore, lower than Rs 2,007.48 crore registered in the year-ago quarter.

For the financial year 2022-2023, the net profit was upside by 8.4 per cent at Rs 3,833.79 crore on YoY revenue from operations at Rs 9,316.34 crore, 12 per cent higher than the previous fiscal.

The company’s recommended final dividend is Rs 0.45 per share with a face value of Rs 10 per share, in addition to the interim dividend of Rs 1.40 per equity share.

Incorporated in 1975, NHPC is a hydropower plant under the Ministry of Power with an objective to plan, promote and organise an integrated and efficient development of hydroelectric power in all aspects.
