Our work creates a positive impact on communities and assists corporations in meeting their social responsibilities by linking beneficiaries with donors. With a mission to 'inspire and empower dreams,' we have been working across gender, economic, and social barriers on diverse causes, including education, nutrition, care for elderly people, and relief, said Geetanjali Chopra, founder and president of the NGO Wishes and Blessings.

"As of date, we have over 20 centres across six states in India," Chopra added.

She was speaking at the celebrations to mark the 9th anniversary of the Delhi-based NGO. Wishes and Blessings also organized "Jashn-e-Qawwali" by Nizami Bandhu – Concert for a Cause on Sunday at the Siri Fort Auditorium in New Delhi.

According to the official release, the proceeds from the fundraising concert will be used to set up a skill development centre under Project Sahas – a skill development initiative for underprivileged women in Delhi that aims to empower disadvantaged women with the necessary skills and resources to build a better future for themselves and their families.

According to her, the concert proceeds will significantly revamp several underprivileged women's lives by empowering them with the right skills to achieve financial independence. "We look forward to more such initiatives to continue supporting the less fortunate people across the country," she said.

Wishes and Blessings, an NGO founded in 2014, is active in states across the country, including Jharkhand, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and West Bengal.

The NGO claims that it has been working on 20 different welfare projects and has impacted the lives of 10,00,000 people in need. It focuses on 6 pilot projects, such as health, education, nutrition, relief, happiness and customisable charity.
