Tell us a few anecdotes about the work culture in Aksh Optifibre Ltd.? How do you help employees to utilise their full potential?

Aksh Optifibre has very clear, transparent and open work culture where each individual have their own targets. We have been observing that a few organisations follow flexible work system and also, follow the criteria to deliver daily basis targets instead of completing work hour. This system help employees to keep motivated and activated to perform well.

At the time of problems, everything is decided by our leadership teams because we believe that freedom should be given to individual to perform with full potential.   

What are the challenges in the HR industry?

The modern HR industry has completely unique set of opportunities to fetch candidates; it has more speed and options,whereas the traditional HR is revolving around human capital. In today’s era, maximum hiring is digitised while it has been observed that next level technology is changing the game in different sectors.

Artificial intelligence is replacing jobs in different sectors like IT, telecom, marketing, CS, accounts etc. This has become the biggest challenge for HR industry to retain workforce in better way and to make them secure about their jobs through secondary options like training and more.

One out of six employees lie in their CV’s, according to Authbridge. How do you check for discrepancies?   

It is difficult for us to select one candidate out of many that's why we do multiple rounds of interview to understand more about the candidate, both on professional and personal front. During the interview, we ask similar questions to all candidates to understand about their mental capabilities, understanding of work culture. 

What do the leaders need to drive the business forward?

In the competitive market and the changing landscape of function, a leader requires high level of strategic understanding and business acumen to save business from external disasters. A leader should possess qualities like unique approach, friendly behavior and good communication skills to achieve the organisational goal.

How to make technology more relevant to bridge the skill gap in different professionals?

There is a huge skill gap in different professionals, to reduce that gap organizations are using technology as a major tool. Automation in the industry is revolutionizing the overall industry dynamics adapting to the newest innovations.

The current economy is driven by technology and machines are replacing workforce where ever possible. Hence, there is a great need to understand the skill set required for a job role where feelings, emotions, and environment are concerned.

What policies have been adopted to provide a safe and good working environment to the employees?

It’s essential for any organisation to provide safe working environment to their workforce. Our organisation follow some policies to make employees satisfied and safe by providing them facilities like work from home, no late working hours, transportation etc. This not only helps them to feel securebutalsomakes them loyal towards the organisation.
