Modi Had Stopped Russia-Ukraine War For 3 Hrs: Ravi Shankar Prasad

Prime Minister Narendra Modi had stopped the Russian-Ukraine War for three hours so that Indian students could come back safely from Ukraine. This claim was made by former Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad during a press conference in Patna on Friday.

Prasad said that this was at a time when the war was at its peak and a large number of Indian medical students were stranded in Ukraine. He said that it was a big challenge for the Indian government to rescue medical students trapped in Ukraine due to war. When PM Modi asked India's High Commissioners in Ukraine and Russia about the evacuation plan, he said that it is possible only if there is a ceasefire. He also said that the PM was able to do so.

The former Union minister said to the media, "Following their suggestions, the Prime Minister spoke to Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelensky to stop the war, so that Indian medical students can be evacuated from the affected areas."
