Ministers Harsh Vardhan, Gangwar, Pokhriyal Step Down Ahead Of Major Cabinet Reshuffle

According to the sources, the new cabinet will be added most of the youngest leaders ever, with a record representation of OBCs, SCs and STs and more women picks.

Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan, Labour Minister Santosh Gangwar, Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, Minister For Chemical And Fertilizers Sadananda Gowda, MoS for Human Resources Development Sanjay Shamrao Dhotre, MoS Woman and Child Development Debasree Chaudhuri, Minister of State for Jal Shakti Ratan Lal Kataria, MoS Animal Husbandry, Dairying and Fisheries Pratap Sarangi on Wednesday stepped down ahead of a major reshuffle of the Union Councils of Ministers of Modi Cabinet.

This move will have to give a special focus on the women representatives and ‘soshit, pidit, vanchhit and adivasi’ (underprivileged and tribal communities), sources told to a leading media house.

According to the sources, the new cabinet will be added most of the youngest leaders ever, with a record representation of OBCs, SCs and STs and more women picks.

The new Cabinet is likely to see some new names such as Jyotiraditya Scindia, Sarbananda Sonowal, Narayan Rane and Pashupati Nath Paras, among others, according to the sources.

The new council is expected to see more representation of women: BJP Vice President Sobha Karandlaje, MP from Beed in Maharashtra Pritam Munde and MP from Maharashtra’s Nandurbar Heena Gavit were also seen entering the PM’s residence.
