MH Governor Asks Thackeray To Prove Majority In Assembly; These 4 MLAs Cannot Vote

CM Uddhav will have to prove his majority in the floor test at 5 pm on Thursday. The floor test will be broadcasted live

Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari has asked Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray's government to prove majority in the assembly. The Governor has given this order by writing a letter to Uddhav.

CM Uddhav will have to prove his majority in the floor test at 5 pm on Thursday. The floor test will be broadcasted live.

At the same time, Shiv Sena's rebel MLA Eknath Shinde said that all the rebel MLAs present in Guwahati will go to Mumbai tomorrow. As per media reports, all the MLAs of Shinde faction will go to Goa from Guwahati on Wednesday. After staying for a night in Goa, all the rebel MLAs will reach Maharashtra Vidhan Bhavan before 11 am tomorrow.

Apart from that, Sena's hiking tension is that, four MLAs of NCP,  an ally of Shiv Sena in the government, will not be able to take part in the floor test. Deputy Chief Ministers Ajit Pawar, Chhagan Bhujbal, Anil Deshmukh and Nawab Malik will not be able to vote in the assembly. Actually, Ajit Pawar and Bhujbal's test report of covid is positive, and Nawab Malik and Anil Deshmukh are in jail.

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Devendra Fadnavis met State Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari at Raj Bhavan on Tuesday night. Fadnavis requests Koshyari to ask Uddhav Thackeray government to prove majority in the assembly.
