Chinese electronics giant Lenovo on Wednesday (9 August) launched its latest flagship killer K8 Note smartphone in India. Lenovo revealed that they have sold 8.5 units of ‘K’ series smartphones in India. Just like its predecessor K6 Note, the Lenovo K8 Note also comes in two RAM+storage configurations. It is available in fine gold and venom black colours.
Lenovo K8 Note will be exclusively available on Amazon 18 August 12 pm onwards. The 3GB variant is priced at Rs 12,999 and the 4GB variant at Rs 13,999. Lenovo is also offering 80 per cent discount on e-books, Moto Sports headphones at a price of Rs 699, and Idea users will get 64GB free data+ unlimited calls for 56 days at Rs 343.
Lenovo K8 Note runs on stock Android 7.1.1 Nougat and powered by 2.3 Ghz Helio X23 Deca-core processor. It comes in two RAM+storage configurations- 3GB+32GB and 4GB+64GB and the storage is expandable up to 128GB through MicroSD card.
Lenovo K8 Note features a 5.5-inch full-HD (1920x1080) display with 2.5 D curved glasses and Corning Gorilla Glass 4 for protection from scratch. It sports 13-megapixels+5-megapixels dual camera at the rear with LED flash. On the front is a 13-megapixel selfie camera with wide angle lens, front flash, Pro mode and beauty mode.
K8 Note is backed by a 4000mAh non-removable battery which supports fast charging and comes with a 15W Turbo charger. The device has a security fingerprint sensor below the rear camera which unlocks it in 0.3 seconds. The handset is splash resistant and also has a dedicated music key which allows users to play, pause or rewind the music. The dedicated music key can also be used as a shortcut key for actions like- opening flashlight, camera or even take a screenshot.
K8 Note measures 154.5x75.9x8.5mm and weighs 180 grams. Connectivity options are – Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, dual-SIM, 4G VoLTE, 3.5mm audio-jack, micro USB, and GPS.
