Lava Launches 'Icon' With Star OS

Lava international Limited, one of the leading companies in the mobile handset industry, on Thursday (09 April) announced the launch of its latest offering ‘Icon’. The new device redefines user experience with a magnificent camera and customized Star OS.

Sporting a premium metallic look, the Icon is 7.7 mm thick which makes it extremely comfortable to operate. While the classic design makes it durable and less prone to damage, the glass finish on the back panel adds to its aesthetics.

Surya Software Makes Use Of Microsoft SQL Server

Surya Software, a provider of banking technology, has enabled customers, including major banks, to improve their risk management capability with BALM (Banking Asset Liability Management Solution) based on Microsoft SQL Server. With this, banks are better placed to handle risks arising from asset-liability mismatches and make more effective decisions while reducing operating costs.

D N Prahlad, Surya Software said, “The asset-to-liability gap is a major task banks deal with on a daily basis. With BALM, we aim to respond faster to a dynamic market and regulatory environment. We will soon move the solution to the latest SQL Server 2014 to help take the solution to the cloud, as banks adopt cloud. Backup Exec 15 For Hybrid Clouds

Symantec on Thursday announced that Veritas (the planned spinout of Symantec’s Information Management business) is launching the general availability of Backup Exec 15, an updated version of the award-winning backup and recovery solution that delivers capabilities to help customers address their core needs while staying ahead of the changing landscape.
“Veritas has made great strides in evolving the Backup Exec platform to meet the needs of our users. In recent years, the hybrid cloud model has created new customer needs for tools that manage information in increasingly complex infrastructures,” said Andy Ng, Technical Sales and Services leader, Asia Pacific and Japan, Veritas.

Skype Translator Now Speaks Italian And Mandarin
