Jakson Green To Develop Green Hydrogen Refuelling Station In Delhi

Jakson Green, a diesel generator and energy company on Tuesday notified its plan to develop a green hydrogen fuelling station at Badarpur in New Delhi in an attempt to expand as a major power company, which is expected to offset 3.7 tonnes of CO2 per day once operational.

In addition, besides a hydrogen purification system, a battery energy storage system (BESS) backed with a renewable hybrid power plant will be developed within the station, making it a completely self-sustained facility the company added.

The energy company further highlighted the complete system will be controlled in an advanced integrated manner using high-end technology to oversee the entire facility.

According to the report, the fuelling station will produce nearly 260 kg of green hydrogen per day at a pressure of 350 bar. Thus, utilising the fuel to run up to five intercity FCEV (fuel cell electric vehicle) buses.

Commenting on the matter, Bikesh Ogra, CEO and Managing Director of Jakson Green said, our aim is to establish India’s largest urban-centric green hydrogen refuelling station, pushing the nation’s sustainability initiatives. Thus, making us a significant player in green hydrogen.

He added that we are committed to building infrastructure promoting hydrogen-fuelled vehicles.
