Jaishankar Meets Counterparts From Czech Republic And EU

Jaishankar reached France on Sunday after concluding his visit to Germany where he attended the Munich Security Conference 2022

Amid his visit to France, external affairs minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar met European Union (EU) commissioner for international partnerships, Jutta Urpilainen on Tuesday.

Jaishankar informed on Twitter about a positive discussion with Urpilainen on working together in Africa, enhancing green partnerships and promoting connectivity. 

Jaishankar took to Twitter and wrote, "A warm interaction with  EU Commissioner for international relations Jutta Urpilainen. A positive discussion on working together in Africa, enhancing green partnerships and promoting connectivity. India-EU cooperation is advancing across many fronts."

Urpilainen also shared the information on Twitter and wrote, "Thank you for the warm exchange, Dr S Jaishankar. We have converging visions on accelerating SDGs through trusted connectivity. We also discussed equity and regional issues of mutual interest." 

Meanwhile, Jaishankar held several talks with his French counterpart Jean-Yves Le Drian and Jan Lipavsky, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Czech Republic. They discussed bilateral cooperation, Indo-Pacific and the Ukraine situation.
