Jaguar-Land Rover Sales Grow 32% In India

Jaguar Land Rover India managed to sell 2,393 cars in 2012 compared to 1,813 in 2011.
During the calendar year, Land Rover launched the refined luxury SUV, the Range Rover, in India. More Land Rover products will be launched throughout 2013.
The globally anticipated Jaguar F-Type – an all new two seater sports car will be launched in India later this year, along with model year changes for the XF and XJ.
In India, the Jaguar product range includes the XF, XFR, XKR, XKR-S and the XJ.
For Land Rover, the product range includes the Freelander 2 (built in Pune), Discovery 4, Range Rover Evoque, Range Rover Sport and the all-new Range Rover.
Karbonn Mobiles, Airtel JV For Data
Karbonn Mobiles, one of the fastest growing mobile brands in the country announced its joined venture with India’s leading telecom services provider Bharti Airtel. This partenership will provide an exciting data offer with purchase of selected range of Karbonn smartphones. Canon Announces Foray Into New Domain Of In-Studio Printing
Canon India, the complete digital imaging company, announced the launch of the all-new advanced series of ultra-professional printers for in-studio photo printing. With the launch of PIXMA PRO-1 (Rs 94,860), PIXMA PRO-10 (Rs 65,995) and the PIXMA PRO-100 (Rs 47,995), Canon intends to revolutionise the market for in-studio photo printing in India. These printers are especially designed to meet the requirements of photographers with no compromise on productivity and very high color accuracy printing. The Pro series cater to discerning professional photographers and will be available in the market from the month of January.
Tata Indicom Launches Unlimited Plans for CDMA Customers
Tata Indicom has announced the launch of Unlimited plans for its pre-pay and post-pay customers in Delhi. In line with its promise to offer value for money products and offerings that make a consumers life easy these plans come with benefits which have hitherto been unavailable in the market. The Unlimited offers come in denominations of Rs 666 for pre-pay customers and Rs 899 for post-pay customers.
RCOM, Alcatel-Lucent Enter In Long-Term Partnerships
Reliance Communications (RCOM), a telecommunications service provider and Alcatel-Lucent (Euronext Paris and NYSE: ALU), have announced a first-of-its-kind, end-to-end network managed services contract aimed at delivering superior customer experience in Eastern and Southern India up to 2020.
Alcatel-Lucent will enhance Reliance Communication’s operations, and synergise hitherto independent wireless and wireline teams to form a single network management organization. This optimised integration of resources will help RCOM to strengthen its focus on growing its business, with top-of-the-line services to customers. Alcatel-Lucent also will drive a standardisation of the tools, processes and best practices that are applied across RCOM’s businesses.
