In these days of stiff competition, there is no company which can claim to have a silver bullet in its arsenal.

Joining hands and moving ahead by forging strong partnerships is the need of the hour.

Infosys on Thursday (18 September) announced three significant partnerships with leading technology players Microsoft, Huawei and Hitachi Data Systems. These partnerships aim to strengthen and widen the scope of solutions the company offers in the areas of cloud, big data and analytics, communication and infrastructure and data center transformation solutions.

As one of Microsoft’s leading systems integration partners globally, Infosys has thousands of Microsoft Certified Professionals. It will now expand its capabilities for analytics and other service offerings on Microsoft technologies. Infosys will also establish a global center of excellence for Microsoft Azure which is capable of training more than 1,000 engineers by the end of fiscal year 2015.

Infosys and Huawei will jointly develop IT solutions that combine Huawei’s cloud infrastructure and extensive service expertise from Infosys. These solutions will target enterprise customers looking to modernize their operations by leveraging cloud infrastructure.

Infosys will also establish a center of excellence to co-create pay-per-use solutions with Hitachi Data Systems. Enterprises can then convert a significant share of their capital expenditure, related to infrastructure and data center management, into operational expenditure.

Vishal Sikka, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, Infosys said, “Infosys is focused on helping customers succeed with software and services to both grow their business in new ways and to achieve operational efficiencies. We are really excited about this partnership."
