India’s Prachi Yadav In Semi-Final Of Canoe Sprint

India’s Prachi Yadav with her extreme efforts managed to reach the semifinal in the canoe sprint event in women's Va'a single 200m at the Tokyo Paralympics.


Prachi Yadav who is suffering from paralysis below the waist has earlier competed in a national-level swimming championship. 


Prachi Yadav, who belongs to  Madhya Pradesh, completed the race within the time of one minute 11,098 in the class VL2 heat 1 at the sea forest waterway. The next match, which will be the semi-final, is going to be held on Friday.


Meanwhile, Rahul Jakhar competitor in Mixed 25m Pistol gave his best but could not manage to get a medal; he scored 5th position in the tournament.


So far India has won a total of 10 medals which includes 2 gold, 5 silver, 3, Bronze and more to come.
