India's Growth Lies In Development Of States: PM Modi

The development of the country lies in the development of the states, said Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday.

Union Transport and Highways Minister, Nitin Gadkari approved 21 national highway projects costing Rs 9,400 crore in Ranchi, Jharkhand. In a tweet, Member of Parliament Sanjay Seth has expressed heartfelt gratitude to Prime Minister, Gadkari for approval of the projects.

Responding to the tweet by Seth about aforesaid project, the PM said, “The development of the country lies in the development of the states. These national projects will give a new impetus to the progress of the entire country including Jharkhand.”

Earlier, PM Modi laid the foundation stone and dedicated development projects worth more than Rs 1,780 crore in Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh on Friday. 

The projects include the much talked about passenger ropeway from Varanasi Cantt station to Godowlia, which is the first passenger ropeway in India.
