INSEAD To Transform Indian Leaders

One of the world's top ranked business schools - INSEAD, France has recently launched a specially designed one year leadership programme in India. ‘INSEAD Leadership Programme for Senior Indian Executives' (ILPSIE) begins from the next academic year in August 2011.

ILPSIE will be conducted at INSEAD's global campuses in France and Singapore along with seamless immersions in India. The programme will also offer alumni status to the participants. INSEAD is the first global B-School to offer such a management development programme for Indian executives under the supervision of 18 of INSEAD faculty. 

The programme is led by Paddy Padmanabhan - the John H. Loudon Professor of International Management and Bala Vissa who teaches entrepreneurship at INSEAD. "ILPSIE is tailored to address the relative scarcity of general management and leadership skills in fast growing Indian companies," said Vissa during the programme launch. "The programme aims to transforms the thinking and behaviour of participants to accelerate and drive effective change"

ILPSIE is a one year Programme with monthly learning interventions. The mainstay of the programme is its immersion weeks – taught by INSEAD faculty. The programme is a mix of functional courses including accounting, finance, marketing and strategy as well as experiential, skill-enhancing coursework in areas such as negotiations, persuasion and influence, communication and coaching.

Introduced in association with Eruditus - a major executive education firm, INSEAD's ILPSIE aims to transform senior executives into business leaders. The overall fees (excluding travel expenses) for 9 weeks long programme spread over a year is Rs 16.5 lakh.
