INERA’s Bio Inputs With Xenesis Institute, Drive 20% Surge In Crop Performance

INERA, an interdisciplinary biology company powered by R&D facilities at Absolute Xenesis Institute, reported a 20 per cent increase in yield and crop vigour on Thursday.

The significant crop surge marked a transformation in the agricultural field with biological power.

Inera uses pathbreaking STREACTM technology which is a proprietary complex of activators that induces and stimulates the activity of biological formulation responsive to certain stress signals in the environment. This activator complex gets activated through specific abiotic (moisture, temperature, pH, etc) and biotic (insects, nematodes, bacterial or fungal pathogens, etc) conditions.

This technology provides many advantages over conventional biologicals by increasing the stability and shelf life of products and also leading to its beneficial effect to target crops. It also helps in regenerative agriculture by maintaining the natural biological process in the soil-plant system.

The field trials are led by Ajit Kumar, SVP, Agriscience, Xenesis with over 16 years of experience at some of the agricultural majors – Bayer, BASF, DuPont, Syngenta, Dhanuka and DSCL Shriram.
