ICC Issues Arrest Warrant For Vladimir Putin Over Ukraine War Crimes

According to the court's statement, Putin is accused of war crimes such as unlawful deportation of the population (children) and unlawful transfer of population (children) from occupied regions of Ukraine to the Russian Federation

The International Criminal Court has issued an arrest warrant for Russian President Vladimir Putin for war crimes in connection with the purported abduction of Ukrainian children.

According to the court's statement, Putin is accused of war crimes such as unlawful deportation of population (children) and unlawful transfer of population (children) from occupied regions of Ukraine to the Russian Federation.

On Friday, it issued a warrant for the arrest of Maria Alekseyevna Lvova-Belova, the Commissioner for Children's Rights in the Russian Federation's Office of the President, on identical charges.
